Tasks, contracts, an AMC/support ticketing desk, client billing and invoicing — all connected to one ledger.
Without a shared task/project view, delivery status is scattered across email threads and individual calendars.
Invoicing that is not tied to project/task records makes it hard to answer "what have we actually billed for this engagement."
| Business requirement | Rebota capability | Relevance | Status |
|---|---|---|---|
| CRM / Sales Pipeline | CRM & Sales Pipeline, with follow-up activities (due/overdue tracking) | Medium | Available |
| Engagement Tracking | Projects, Tasks | High | Available |
| Contracts / SOWs | Contracts | High | Available |
| Support / AMC Desk | Service / Support Desk (ticketing, customer + technician tracking) | High | Available |
| Billing | Client Billing, Invoicing | High | Available |
Rebota is used across a wide revenue range, and the honest answer differs by band. This is what it replaces outright, what it replaces with gaps you should plan around, and where you would be better served elsewhere today.
| Annual turnover | Verdict | What that means in practice |
|---|---|---|
| ₹1 lakh – ₹1 crore | Replaces with gaps | Projects, invoicing and books all work. Billable time does not have a module yet, so time capture stays in a spreadsheet. |
| ₹1 – 10 crore | Replaces with gaps | Usable as your system of record for projects, clients, procurement and accounts — but if you bill by the hour, the hours are entered somewhere else and brought in. |
| ₹10 – 100 crore | Not yet | Not today. At this size a services business runs on timesheets, resource utilisation and forecast staffing, and none of those three are built. |
| ₹100 crore and above | Not yet | Not a fit. Professional services automation is its own product category and Rebota does not compete in it yet. |
What is built and enforced in the product today, by jurisdiction. Anything not listed here is not claimed.
For an exporting services firm this is often enough — you invoice overseas clients in their currency and file in India. Filing outside India is not built.
| Alternative | Stay with it when | Move to Rebota when |
|---|---|---|
| Zoho Books | You bill by the hour and need timesheets today — Zoho has them and Rebota does not. | Your work is project-shaped with procurement and subcontractors, not just invoices with a project field. |
| Tally | Books are the whole requirement. | You cannot tell which engagement made money after costs. |
| Excel and WhatsApp | A handful of clients and one person tracking them. | Two people need the same project status at the same time. |
If one of these is core to how you run, Rebota is the wrong choice today and we would rather you knew now than in month three.
| Not built | Who actually needs it |
|---|---|
| Timesheets and billable time capture | Any firm that bills by the hour or day. This is listed as coming and is not live — if it is how you invoice, Rebota is not ready for you. |
| Resource utilisation and staffing forecasts | Consultancies and agencies managing bench time against a pipeline. |
| Customer portals | Firms whose clients expect to log in for status and documents. |
