Is there a free plan?
Yes. You start on a 15-day trial of Pro. If you do not pay, the account stays on the Free plan for good: 1 user and 5 policies, with clients, families, renewal and premium due lists and one-tap WhatsApp reminders. Your data stays with you.
Will it work on my phone?
Yes. There is an Android app and a Windows app, and on an iPhone or any other device it opens in the browser.

How do renewal reminders work?
Rebota lists what is due in 7, 15, 30, 60 and 90 days and what is overdue. One tap opens the reminder in your own WhatsApp with the insurer's payment link. On the higher plans reminders can go out on their own, only if you switch them on.
Can I check my commission and TDS?
Yes. Enter your rates once; Rebota works out what each premium should pay you, matches the insurer's statement, and shows what is short, missing or clawed back, with the TDS deducted.
Do I have to type in my existing policies?
No. Download the Excel template, paste your policies and import them. Rows with a problem are listed with the reason.
Does Rebota issue policies or collect premiums?
No. Clients pay the insurer directly. Rebota is your own record of clients, policies, renewals, commission and service.
Is Rebota software for LIC agents?
Yes. LIC policies sit in the same book as every other insurer's, with premium due and renewal lists, one-tap WhatsApp reminders and commission checked against the insurer's statement, with TDS.
Is there software for POSP agents?
Yes. The Solo plan is made for the individual agent or POSP: clients, policies and renewals, commission by insurer with TDS, leads, quotes and reports. Your POSP certificate is kept with its expiry date, and you are warned before it runs out.
Can Rebota read a policy PDF?
Yes. Upload the policy PDF and Rebota reads it on its own server and fills in the policy form for you to check and save. The file is not sent to any outside service and is not kept. It reads policies issued as PDFs; a scanned photo has no text to read.
Can my clients see their own policies?
On the Agency plan you can send a client a private link to their policies, or their whole family's. It works for 30, 90 or 365 days, you can switch it off at any time, nothing can be changed through it, and it never shows PAN, mobile number, date of birth or your commission.
How are sub-agent payouts worked out?
A sub-agent gets their share of the commission the insurer actually paid on the policies they brought in. Each payout is a dated statement with the TDS kept back and the net paid, and a claw-back comes off their next payout. A sub-agent signs in to see only their own book.
Can I send birthday and festival wishes to clients?
Yes. Birthday, anniversary, festival, welcome and thank-you greetings, with greeting cards, in English, Marathi, Hindi, Gujarati, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Bengali and Punjabi, sent from your own WhatsApp. Birthday and anniversary wishes can also go out automatically on the day, with your card, from Rebota's WhatsApp Business number: each client is wished once a year, and clients who asked not to be messaged are skipped.
